Terms of Service

Welcome to Tournado (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account or using the App, you affirm that you are at least 13 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of Services

The App allows users to create and manage single-elimination tournaments. Organizers can create tournaments, generate codes for participants to join, and manage event settings. Participants can join tournaments without registering.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

3.1 Organizer Accounts
Organizers must register using their Google account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
• Upload or transmit harmful content, including malware or spam.

4. Participation in Tournaments

Participants joining tournaments using a code agree to:

• Respect the rules set by the tournament organizer.
• Refrain from abusive or disruptive behavior.

Organizers are solely responsible for managing and enforcing tournament rules.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and other materials in the App are the property of Tournado or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any materials from the App without prior written consent.

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 Ownership
Any content you create or submit within the App (e.g., tournament details, event descriptions) remains your property. However, you grant Tournado a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this content for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

6.2 Prohibited Content
You may not post or share content that:

• Is illegal, offensive, or infringes on others' rights.
• Violates the App's policies or applicable laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tournado is not liable for:

• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App.
• Errors, interruptions, or unauthorized access to the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at miguel.carrasco@ucb.edu.bo.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on the App. Your continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of "Nuestra Señora de La Paz". Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of "Nuestra Señora de La Paz".
